I have been trying sooooo hard to make myself read this. I loved maybe the first ten of the Stephanie Plum series - they were so funny and I recommended them to everyone I could, they were wonderful. But now I am really struggling to read the same thing over and over again.

The last two books I sped read because seriously, most of the content is reminding us of things that we already know from the other books. Seriously, do I need to be told EVERY SINGLE TIME about who she is, where she comes from, what her house looks like, why her grandmother lives with her parents, who ranger is, who morelli is - it goes on and on and on. Please give us a little credit - by book 19 we get it - her parents front yard is the size of a postage stamp! I get it!

So by the time you skim through all of that you have maybe 50 pages of actual story, and I'm sorry I just don't think I can do it anymore. I'm sorry Janet Evanovich - I love your style but I just can't keep reading, something, anything! needs to change.

I promise to keep the book on my ereader but I just don't know if I will open it again.

Good bye Stephanie Plum, in my mind you will always be with Ranger.
